• Bullet Train: The Shinkansen (i.e. bullet trains) network offers fast and convenient service between Tokyo and other major cities. You can travel from Tokyo to Osaka in approximately 3 hours.



• Buses: Numerous bus companies, in big cities and in regional towns operate bus services. The bus fare varies depending on the Bus Company but it is usually around 200 yen for an inner-city ride.



• Car Rental: Car rental services are available in most large and medium-sized cities as well as at airports and major train station. When renting a car, you will be asked to produce your international driver license.



• City Buses: All major cities have extensive intra-city bus routes.
• Long Distance Buses: JR operates long-distance buses between Tokyo
  
  and other major cities.



• Subway: Subway lines are widely available in all major cities, providing prompt and efficient transportation. Almost all stations have automatic ticket machines from which you can buy your ticket for various destinations.



• Taxis: Taxis can be very convenient for intra-city transportation. They are available on the streets, ranks or by phone.



• Train: The railway system in Japan has a high reputation for punctuality and safety. The train fare varies naturally depending on the travelling distance as well as the
  
  
• Type of train service: Limited Express, Express etc. and the type of reserved seat: Green Car (first class), Sleeper etc., for each of which an extra charge is required. For getting around Tokyo in a more economical way, one can get a "One-day pass" which has several different options.

• Airport facilities



• Airport Car Rental: Available at the Terminal 1 and 2 (1st floor). Office hours: 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.



• Limousine Buses: The limousine bus service departing from Narita Airport has a vast network of routes across the Tokyo metropolitan area. It links the New Tokyo International Airport at Narita with the Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT), the Yokohama City Air Terminal (YCAT), Haneda Airport and most major Tokyo hotels. Buses leave from the front of the arrival lobby at Narita Airport, taking you directly to the entrance of major hotels in Tokyo. The buses operate every day leaving every 5 – 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the 1st Floor Arrival Lobby.



• Luggage Delivery: Delivery service counters at the airport include ABC Co. Ltd., Kamataki Unyu Co. Ltd. (QL Liner), New Passenger Service (NPS), Sky Porter and Green Port Agency (GPA). Per piece of luggage up to 30kg is charged 2,000 yen.



• Public Trains: Narita Express, Keisei Skyliner, and Limited Express are available at Narita Airport station and Airport Terminal 2 Station.



• Taxis: Taking about 90 minutes to central Tokyo, a one way fare costs about 25,000 yen.
• Terminal Connection Bus: This free service operates from 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. and is available for transfer between Terminals 1 and 2 of Narita Airport. Frequency: Every 8 minutes (peak hours) and every 10 – 20 minutes (off-peak hours). Travelling time: Around 10 minutes.

• Internet access: wireless internet free in all apartments.


• Cleaning frequency: twice a week cleaning.


• Laundry facility: washing maschine and dryer available in the residence.


• Air conditioning: available in all apartments.


• Leisure facility: gym and swimming pool available at the property.


• Parking: car park available at the property, charged at JPY 2000 per night.


• Extra bed : available to be added at extra charge of JPY 2263 per night.

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICY

The cancellation and amendment deadline is for 3 working days (monday to friday) prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time. This cancellation policy will also be stated on the confirmation.

• All cancellations and amendments/alterations should be made in writing by fax or by e-mail. Enquiries about cancellations and amendments can be made on the phone first but must be followed by a written confirmation by fax or by e-mail.

• Any reservation cancelled more than 3 working days prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time, will incur only a £25 (GBP) processing fee. This amount will be deducted from the refund issued the same day of the cancellation and a confirmation of the cancellation will be forwarded to the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.
  Any reservation amended (amendments include modifying the arrival date and adding or reducing the number of apartments or nights) more than 3 working days prior to the arrival date by mid-day (12:00) London time, will incur only a GBP 25 (GBP) processing fee. This amount will be deducted from any refund issued or added to any extra charge made the same day of the amendment and a confirmation of the amendment will be forwarded to the guests. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5 percent (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.Please note that although the length of stay can be extended, there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate.If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, then the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force.

• Please note that a change of rate for a shortened or lengthened stay will be applied retrospectively: the new rate will be effective from the original date of arrival.

• Any reservation made or arriving within 3 working days prior to arrival will be non-refundable and non-exchangeable. All reservations made and not used (non-arrival / double bookings) without the reservations being amended or cancelled prior to arrival will also incur a full charge.

• Clients are responsible for contacting Apartotels.com directly for any amendment or cancellation and as advised above any change or cancellation will only be actioned when a request in writing is received. Any amendment or cancellation made directly with the property will not be considered valid. Any request to cancel or amend a reservation cannot be considered complete until you receive our confirmation. Until you do your booking will still be considered valid as originally made so please ensure you contact us if you do not receive a confirmation of your cancellation/amendment within 1 hour of your initial written request if made during normal business working hours, or within 1 hour of our opening times if your initial request is made overnight or at weekend.

LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
For a cancellation notified at any time after mid-day (12:00) 3 working days (monday to friday) prior to the arrival date or for a 'no show', Apartotels.com will retain an amount as follows:

• for stays of under 7 nights, the value of one night's stay;

• for stays of between 7 nights to 27 nights, the value of three nights' stay; and

• for stays of more than 28 nights, the value of seven nights' stay.

The above amount will be deducted from the refund issued. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.

MODIFICATION TO A RESERVATION, OR TO THE DURATION OF STAY, AFTER ARRIVAL
After arrival any modification to the length of stay will be subject to a £25 (GBP) processing fee if the length of stay is being reduced.

If the duration of the reserved stay is to be shortened, the applicable tariff for that shorter duration will come into force and both the new rate and processing fee will be taken into account before any refund is made. Please note that all refunds will also incur a 5% (of the total amount originally paid) credit card handling fee charge.

If the duration of the reserved stay is to be extended (subject to availability of course), there will be no obligation from the property to allocate the same apartment or to apply the same rate.
